About Me

I am a Christian woman, wife, and mother of two. I sell wine, how great is that?

My husband is the love of my life. I have an older son, who has chosen the blog name Zed (what can you say). He’s 17 and in high school. He’s gotten an apprenticeship for automotive mechanics. My youngest son, we’ll call him Tadpole, is 8. He knows he’s cute. Yes, about 10 years between them!

I’m a conservative, pro-life, Protestant, an ex-pat American living in Ontario, Canada.  I am proud to have served the United States in the US Navy for a time. I like learning, books, wine (of course), knitting, gaming and decent movies. I’ve recently learned to drive a motorcycle.

We have one dog, Maya, a Boxer/Shepherd cross.  Two cats – China is a 16 year old Diva, and Molly is a 4 year old crazy thing.

I’m writing this “blog” more like a journal. I’ll put into it interesting things I’ve read on the internet or in books, pics of interesting things (well, interesting to me), and roundups of my day. If you want to read along and comment (within reason), feel free.

I’ll put more here when I think of things to tell you.

Oh, and a note on my “blog blurb”…. I know the British Navy used the thread to deter thieves. It’s a tale. A neat, interesting tale. That’s why the words “is said” is in there. I know. You don’t need to tell me.
