Last week, I lost just over a pound, which is not bad, considering all I did was count calories and I really blew 2 days of it. Hubby got some good news that called for celebration and we also had Chinese on the weekend. I was going to go to the Y today, but I got caught up in meal planning and scheduling. I forgot how long it takes to do that when you first start out, and basically, I am starting anew, again.

Anyway, I caught a shift tomorrow morning so the treadmill will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. The gym bag is packed, so no excuses. Tomorrow night is a barbell class, and I want to hit that, too. Hubby and little man now have memberships, so maybe they’ll come along.

I did take the time to schedule out everything for the week, including Y visits. I’m better off having no excuses for a while, at least until it kicks in and I start to feel motivated. Working around my work schedule is a little difficult, but doable.

I need to remember to be easier and yet harder on myself. I know, but I tend to go to extremes. My mantra this year is “It’s not all or nothing.”

Weight Watchers ravioli with strawberry shortcake tonight when I get home. I’ll be eating late because I had my nose in the computer too long this afternoon.  That means I’m hungry now. Note to self: think about putting alarms on the phone again.

I changed my hair color – it’s now a kinda funky red. I like it.

We’ve been working on the main bathroom since Friday, such a mess. We’re trying to fix a bad drywall patch. When I say “we”, read “hubby”. He’s doing all the dirty work. I think I’ll be able to paint next weekend.
